SW OH
I've said this many times. Today's standard oils are so much better than they were 50 years ago, the added cost of synthetic is not worth it. Except in extreme applications such as high heat. Standard oils are almost as good as synthetics. At work we are currently using Chevron Delo 600 ADF, a semi synthetic. I am not sure I like it as well as the CAT DEO-ULS it replaced. We sample everything and the results from the CAT oil were generally better. The switch was made because of a price increase from CAT. The CAT oil went up to $17.XX per gallon. The Delo is currently $14.25. Both delivered in bulk to our shop.
