To the best of my knowledge there is no regulation on semi synthetic oils, meaning what percentage is synthetic/conventional. If the oil meets the OE specs it will be fine. If you want more info on what's going on with the oils you're using you'll need to send off samples for a used oil analysis. Then you can make an educated decision if one brand is worth double the cost
