Been using Shaffer's 15w40 semi synthetic oil for a long time, no engine problems, same with their # 315 Hydraulic oil. Getting low so called about them and the cost, almost double the cost of 15w40 reg oil from CIH and about $11 more a gal on the hydraulic. Just looking at cutting the cost on some items, are these one? Use full synthetic engine oil in all the cars and pickup, would going back to conventional oil in the tractors and combine be a step backwards? I have pushed out oil changes more hours again with no issue. Whats thoughts on this, thanks.
