Were the ears filled out to the end compared to other hybrids?
Was your kernel size the same as other hybrids?
Was it an ears per acre problem or a bushels per thousand problem?
Ears looked good, didn't seem off enough to do a detailed comparison. Did not compare kernels, but like the ears, on their own, things looked normal. Stand looked good, so ears per acre appeared to be on par. Believe it was just slightly smaller ears with slightly less kernel/yield. |
