S.C. Wisconsin | So far we are very happy with our RAV 4 hybrid . The worst gas MPG is driving 80 mph on a freeway which still is 37MPG. Around home we average 40 MPG and over 50 MPG for city driving. My former CRV Honda averaged about 26 MPG. I like the extra acceleration when entering a freeway. Then there is the simplicity of the drive train without a normal automatic transmission. Then there is the regenerative breaking. For some a all electric car makes sense but for us with our life style we did feel it would fill our needs.
