SW Ohio
I havent personally used it but know people that do. It works. It needs to be respected.

• Aluminum Phosphide: This is a highly restricted, acute toxicant sold under brand names like Phostoxin or Fumitoxin.
• How it works: When tablets or pellets are placed inside the burrow system, they react with natural soil moisture to release phosphine gas (hydrogen phosphide), which is rapidly lethal to burrowing rodents.
• You cannot use aluminum phosphide within 15 to 100 feet (depending on the specific state regulations and product label specifications) of any occupied or potentially occupied building due to gas migration risks. Soil must have sufficient moisture, and every single escape hole must be mapped, plugged, and tightly packed with dirt.
