Southern Missouri | I’m sure it’s just me ,that means just me ,that can’t comprehend anyone saying a plane moving at enough speed to create enough lift to go up and over a house can get spray closer to that guys yard without getting spray on it than a drone moving at less than 5 mph if it wants to ? Again probably just me but I won’t buy that if a plane is going around a tree ,a high line pole ,a building or even just another crop next to the one being sprayed . As far as overlap , the part not overlapped should receive the exact amount of chemical being aimed for , the overlap area is what receives something different than required, as I’ve said a lot , someone gonna have to show me how you can apply aerially with any method , plane , drone or helicopter and insure yourself your not leaving skips ( areas with zero chemical hitting the surface ) and not have overlap . They’re also gonna have to show me how any other aerial method could have nearly as accurate of overlap strips as a drone does when compared to any other aerial method of spraying , especially if there’s anything in or around the field that causes planes and helicopters to have to rise up in the air any at all anywhere , but again this is just me and my experience of many many acres being aerially sprayed for 52 crops . You probably don’t know anyone made more mistakes than me in that 52 years ,but this is the aerial hill I’m standing on currently. | |
