How much area is it? Knowing what equipment you own or could borrow or rent will help in making recommendations. If it were mine , I would mow with my New Holland sicklebar mowing machine or the New Holland Haybine, (mowing around any tree saplings which can be removed with tractor using log chain wrapped around tree saplings). Let the stuff lay until dry ( or nearly so) , use hay rake to put it into windrows, round bale and haul it to dump in the woods. OR, use a 3 point mounted field cultivator or box blade with scarifier teeth just barely touching ground, drag all the stuff into piles and burn if safe enough conditions. If wanting to get it into lawn mowing condition, use box blade to shave off high spots of earth, fill in low spots, get it smoothed up and scatter grass seed over the entire area. Keep it mowed regularly beginning next year.
