Congratulations on making the decision on your time. When I went through cancer I was asked if I was going to quit, I said no I want to do it on my terms not cancers. I was able to beat the cancer and farm another 5 years and retire the way I wanted to. 

a lot of the lasts were I wouldn’t say hard but were times I still reflect on. I harvested 53 crops so that is a change when it is no longer there to do. I know I couldn’t do it anymore like I used to. There are enough young guys out there that have the desire, energy, and young minds that can farm in today’s environment. 

Again congratulations on making the move to retirement. I’m sure you will find plenty to do to keep busy.
