central - east central Minnesota - | NKag - 11/2/2026 15:50 I had a neighbor call and wanted to know if I was interested in renting his shed to store equipment. The previous farmer decided not to use the shed anymore due to a groundhog infestation, that caused thousands of dollars of damage to equipment in the shed. I have no issue telling the neighbor I'm not interested, but figured I'd try to find an easy(ish) way of eradicating the critters, since I need shed space. Any advice?
I know a guy that had a NH3 leak in a sealed shed - seemed to work very good to kill any rodents that were in there. Once the shed was redden of rodents, took out the loose dusty material, crushed the holes and fill with crushed asphalt millings layer. No more problems with rodents . . . .
