There was a guy in my neighborhood that everybody called "The Gamer" because he would walk around in the yard with his open laptop on a sling around his neck all the time. He was into the world wide game stuff. He was a university librarian with plenty of education. But would never take the time to earn his tenure. They ended up moving some. His wife confided in the neighbors wife that she had made up her mind that she would move one more time and after that she would leave him. I have wondered several times if they are still together or if gaming was more important.
