Subject: RE: Tough Job

Nw arkansas

I’m sorry for the memories but going thru the old things has a way of bringing things to life that shouldn’t be.

I know I said a lot of I’m so sorry and wished he could have heard when I found out his method to madness on things that I remember have it disagreements over,   He was right and I was def wrong. He was the typical Great Depression ,ww2 survivor that didn’t show weakness and didn’t show any feelings.  He was from a big family and was farmed out to a dairy in eastern Colorado at the ripe old age of 6 to work for room and board.  Rough times made tough men.

Going to Lockwood with dad was and is prob the best memories of my early life as everything we used came from golden city or Lockwood cause all the dealers were there and close.  The highlight was a lunch at cookies in golden city and if I played my cards just right a piece of coconut pie.
