I'm going to sound like the classic old guy complaining here but its true that the posted signs are more often seen as the minimum speed. I mostly drive the speed limit or less, 100 kph or 62 mph and its rare to ever have to pass anybody except farm machinery. The speeds you guys talk about are beyond my comprehension. I've seen 120 kph on occasion during some panic or high stress situations, driving to a fire or something but other than that I figure its easier on me and the vehicle to keep it down near the speed limit of 100 km per hour. Easier on gas too. And yet there are plenty that complain we need a higher speed limit. With the distracted texting drivers out there driving well above the speed limit its just an accident waiting to happen. I'm thankful to live in a low traffic world most of the time.
