Agco purchased sunflower in Beloit Kansas. Some engineers were disgruntled and quit (maybe fired) Don hired them, started the blue landoll tillage equipment. 100 miles from marysville. Built or acquired new production plant in Beloit. Don of course had built trailers for years, and yellow tillage equipment. He has since bought Brillion packers, tillage and seeders. He bought my neighbors specialized fork lift design about 7 years ago.
It amazes me to this day Agco hadn’t sued him over that stunt. How can you legally just copy someone’s product line? |
