Try opening Chrome, clicking the three dots in the upper-right corner, and scrolling down to Settings. Then, on that page, go to Default browser on the left and go from there. Google will help, since they don't want you using Edge either.
Plan B: Go to Google, type in your sad tale, and follow the instructions. Just pasting it in your original post should work.
