Nw arkansas

I hear ya and it’s one of the worst things ive done .  Dad bought the farm in 1948 and built it from nothing and three generation there as well. One of the most emotional situations ive ever been in because you get  to relive and actually ,in my case really got to know my dad after the fact.  I was advised to just have a sale and get rid of it but i refused to have a auctioneer on the place after surviving the 80s and seeing so many other peoples  dreams perish with the fall of the gavel . I single handed dismantled 60 plus years and like you found things i never knew were there and the hundred of baby food jars of parts and pieces.  Tried to give away tons of new obsolete parts with not one taker. . Ive been many times as a youngster to get parts with dad from marshes , in fact i had a whole big box of planter parts that had there logo on it.  .  Its a tough thing you are doing but please dont let it get you down like i did..
