Subject: RE: Question for South Dakota corn growers

West Central MN
Ninety miles east of I-29 in SD, there are record outdoor piles of corn and soybeans. Don't ever recall beans piled on the ground before this year. Glad I'm not going to be the one cleaning up or living downwind of the remains of those stinky piles.

One very large local elevator stopped taking wet corn for most of the day on Friday because it ran out of space.

Best ever yields and consistent from field to field around here for corn and soybeans. There is usually more variability between the different soil types either being too wet or dry and this year they all performed. The stars are probably not going to align like this again for a very long time.

With -$0.80 basis, they don't want it...
