NEMO | I hope he reports back in when the snow is flying with a pic of it opened up. So, it's not too dry, but packed good enough may be an issue. When I used hay for sides, a generally bad idea, I at least made the bales in a triangle to get deeper. I know lots of guys do it the way the OP did it,1 bale, my neighbors do, but it's mostly a pile of junk because it doesn't pack good shallow. Hopefully it works out, maybe being so late in the year will be to his advantage | |
