One thing was largely that grain were thought of as a safe haven with less risk than other investment types and drove the price up artificially quickly rather than a typically S&D rally. They also exit just as quickly which is what has happened now. The reports though not friendly for S&D factors were the excuse for all of that money to leave anyway
