Cleveland, MS. Own small farm near Booneville, MS | Those are interesting connections and overlaps. On my dad’s side, my grandfather was born in 1876 and died on his birthday in 1926. When he was 46 years old (1922) his youngest child (of 11 children, all the same wife), my dad was born. When my dad was 37 years old his youngest child (me, youngest of three) was born (I am currently 67). My son was born when I was 29. He is about to turn 38 and has no offspring- yet. I don’t know his age without looking it up, but my great grandfather was a soldier in the 13th Georgia Calvary in “the War of Northern Aggression”. :-) Most people my age have to go back an extra generation or two to find an ancestor of that era. |
