SE Iowa | I’m assuming DLB is like us here and every field is full of ruts. No till isn’t an option for these 12”+ ruts in every field. Luckily the ruts are usually concentrated to particular areas of the field. I just leveled the ruts with a disk and will have to level with the finisher again in the spring and set my planter up for no till even when 10% of the field is tilled and just deal with a little extra depth and down pressure on my beans in the tilled stalks. | |
