Subject: Volunteer corn and fall spraying

Odd pocket,Illinois
Volunteer corn around here is pushing 2 foot tall in many places, was wanting to spray some cornstalks this weekend before the rain but not sure if the chemicals will even make contact with the winter annuals that are growing where the corn is thicker. Need a good frost to kill this corn off. Will be spraying 2-4D,Glyphosate and Valor. Should I spray or wait until the corn is dead? Thanks
