| 2 different classes of drones
The C150 (c31 in the US) is built for large fields, and with the larger tank you can also do higher volume work more efficiently. It's also got a very good looking spray pattern. They are coming out with a new high volume spray base with 8 nozzles for people that need that, and the cargo base is great for heavy lift work since you can pick up ~400lbs. If I'm not mistaken, that's a pretty lucrative business on its own in Canada where you guys can do that type of work. Support from Ceres so far has been really good. A few issues early on that popped up this year but they were quick to fix them and very generous with their warranty.
T100 has been a solid option too. Being a DJI product, it has the best camera on a spray drone by far and the software is very polished. Does really well in large fields and can still be productive in smaller fields too.
C150 will beat out the T100 in large open fields, high volume work, and heavy lift.
T100 will beat out the C150 in smaller fields and pasture work. The obstacle navigation is better from what I've seen. | |
