i think sms keys hybrids off the name in the legend, so if this years planting file had a hybrid name that already existed from a couple years ago it can merge them into the old entry. not sure why itd read right on the combine and only break on the download though. are the wrong hybrids showing up as exact same names as the old ones, or names you havent planted in years?
