Hopefully not this but those rigs had a plastic impeller pressed on a knurled shaft for a water pump and I had the plastic let loose from the knurling and spin on the shaft...
I forgot to add, a 7.6 engine
I hear they fail more by leaking rather than impeller sliping. I think i check the thermostats first.
