A&I used to sell Maxiforce engine parts and I would say Maxi is equal to OEM. And we have bought 7.6 water pumps from A&I. Still running 5 years later.
That was five years ago, and I would have agreed with you. This last year or two is different.
I know of two A & I pumps that didn’t make one oil change, less than 200 hours. One was exactly like the one in the op, the other on a 9 liter.
JD has a serious parts issue going on, especially with water pumps.
