I'm in a good mood and willing to entertain your perspective w I th hypothetical scenarios.
What if there was a product that would return $510 more per acre but it cost $500.
Should one include the interest on the $500 used to gross an additional $510 per acre?
Or back to the beans scenario: if the tougher and higher yielding beans cause your machine to consume more fuel per acre, shouldn't the extra fuel cost be considered?
