I'm a nervous Nelly. Absolutely I'd be testing the feed
And then whenever we might have a drastic change when going from one pasture to another we usually do an introduction. Let them get filled up on the existing pasture or some dry hay and then open them to the new pasture for a while. Do that for a couple days and then we turn them loose
