Nebraska aka the boondocks
That seems generic. I have read here, we will never run out. That being the case, why ever raise prices. I am not a trader, so somebody can ask them. 1.6978 carry vs. 1.987 carry. Why is this even significant? Nebraska suddenly has 90 million more bushels, but, nobody knows where it is. Basis will find it, will it? Ag is full of so much generic hoo ha, it’s a wonder anyone knows what is going on. But, specific numbers seem to matter to someone, why, I don’t know. One month ago, I read an article by Karen on agriculture dot com., corn is heading to $6. Now I am reading articles, how low can it go…. Is usda lying or incompetent? Well the only question I have is, which is worse?
