| Bud box gate needs to line up with your cattle alley going up to the chute, I have a gate on the end of the alley with a sliding 1" shaft locks behind the edge of the bud box gate that holds the cattle in the alley when it closes up the alley it opens up a man pass to walk along the alley up to the squeeze chute, when it is not blocking the alley it blocks the man pass along the alley. John Deere is correct, no wedge on the end of the alley, should also have about a 10 foot wide lane going into your bud box about a minimum of 16 feet long.
