Very southern Mn | I don’t think the piston ring is too big of deal. I think you can find something bad with any year. Personally I think the power shift is more robust. That said we had a IVT go bad at 2400 hrs and a clutch pack go out of a power shift at 2800 hrs. Neither tractor misused and both had all maintenance done on time. Same year we had a hyd steering pump go out of a 400 hr 9570rt. It all happened in one year. Never had a major repair before or after on a John Deere R series tractor. That said I probably jinxed myself. | |
