I have two weigh bars with an attached cord running their length under my cattle chute that mice like to chew on. The cord is interconnected on both ends so I'm unable to slide a wire spiral or braided loom over an end. Does anyone know of a stainless braided loom that's split to slide around the cord or have some other idea to protect these?
Weird idea for you - - -
Suspend the whole cute from the weigh bars - - - problem should be eliminated.
(And in the process you could protect the cabling - - grin!)
