I just built another of these contraptions (my first one has gotten legs on it and hasn't returned). Thought I'd pass on some pics and specs. If you see a wood chuck go down hole this system seems to work well, you don't need to bury them or worry about burning down a building or catching another critter in the trap.

How I use: If I know where the other hole is a fill it too first, but if you don't it still seems to work. I place this contraption down hole with Gatorade bottle on the end, so that I don't plug the end and makes a 'reservoir' on that end. I then cover the pipe with dirt to seal the hole, leaving just the 1/2" pvc pipe coming out. After inserting I pull the pipe back some so the fluid can empty into the Gatorade bottle easily.

Some chemistry about ammonia & bleach if you mixed them together makes some nasty gas (deadly). I dump one Gatorade bottle of each down each pipe.

Hope pictures load.

Edit: I use Gatorade bottles, because they are plentiful around here in the summer.

Try pics again
