I prefer the panels myself. I am lazy though and don't like shoveling snow. It is easy to go down the alley side with a blade and push the snow or even frozen feed off if needed. Yes we may have to push the feed up at dark with a side by side and blade but that doesn't matter because we have to check the waters anyways.
