Maybe correct to a point, but I believe that there is more then 1 organism that can cause pink eye, did he have or use every infectious agent in his "study"? I personally think that with certain strains if there is contact or a means to spread it such as flies it will spread unless there is immunity from prior infections or vaccination and if eye irritation is present it it exacerbates the situation.
The flies would be a source of eye irritation. |
