NW Ohio | I still use farmworks daily. Well, I should say it is now Trimble Ag Software. I had farm works and updated to the Trimble ag software at some point in time. Still no subscription fee. I can still call and get it activated, that part isn't an issue. Then if you find the folder where farmworks is installed, you can just copy the "projects" folder to the install on the new computer and have all of your data copied over. I have probably 100 farmworks projects and it will copy them all over and I am good to go. Just switched to a new work computer this summer with no issues. Works on windows 10 and 11 without a problem. WIth that being said, I am probably going to get set up a virtual machine to install Farmworks onto. Just incase Trimble no longer allows me to activate the software sometime in the future.
