Makes sense. I mow pasture but still have a lot of brush. I very rarely boring animals in from other herds. And have no neighbors with cattle for a couple miles. Really only two small herds within about five miles. Number three on that list is probably what has saved me the most. Also like Russ said I keep plenty of mineral out and these cows never go hungry.
