Southwestern IL | I had the same situation as you. I wanted to increase the capacity on a used wheel loader’s clamshell bucket we bought. I extended the bottom of the bucket by 12” and nearly doubled the capacity of the bucket. I’ve found the clamshell to be handy with cleaning up silage bag plastic as well.
