Just what the title says
Had calves running out ,weed seeds or whatever it really flourished last two weeks
Eye Patches make a huge difference in treatment success. Having a dart gun is nice because if you have a bad outbreak treating at the first sign gives much better results.
Ultimately I think mineral is key but you both need quality and 1 the calves will consume frequently.I had a terrible outbreak this year regardless.
Next year my plan is to use a facemop on the mineral feeders and multiple highquality good tasting mineral calves consume. Also in my worst pasture put my fall calving cows there spring in the 1 without swamps bordering the pasture. |
