| Towards the end of August we got about 2 1/2 -3 inches of rain spread out over a couple of weeks, came real slow none run off. In August I thought if we made it grazing till the end of September we would be lucky, but with the rain and heat we made it till tomorrow, will wean tomorrow and put cows on full hay end of next week, earliest I have done either one. Last 2 falls we have been on the dry side and warm, most years up here after about the 3rd week of September all you grow is green color. | |
