Eastern Ontario | Sorry, forgot my camera again today, but i'll try to get a pic of it tomorrow. It's just the male part of a quick coupler. I had thought of putting a hose barb on, but there wasn't enough room for a bushing and the barb (all I could find were male threads) so I found the quick coupler with female threads and it seems to work. Basically it's just screwed on the end of the tube to get the liquid coming out lower in the trench, and being only slightly over 1/4" ID it provides just the right amount of restriction to give me a bit more back pressure (50psi at manifold). It also seems to keep more liquid in the line. I think it makes it seal better and my delivery lines never have frost on them, which I've determined is a good thing. | |
