Brookston, IN | We have an Unvefurth, we removed the spikes and just use the double roller. It works great behing our disc with no harrow on the disk. I do not like it behind our FC with the 5 bar drag on it. It winds up with the ground over worked in the spring and any kind of rain leads to crusting. A neighbor has an identical FC with a Remlinger 3 row spring harrow and a single roller and it does a better job in my opinion. We used ours this year for the first time in 3yrs. because we had to level some corn stalk fields due to harvest ruts. My first choice is to run our Salford RTS for all seed bed prep but last fall created contions that needed more leveling than the RTS can accomplish. | |
