| How are you handling Schedule F and Form 4562 right now?
Not a farmer here, I’m a developer. But I keep hearing the same thing from small operators: Schedule F is either done by hand in Excel, handed to an accountant for $500+, or somewhere in between.
Curious how people here actually handle it. Yourself? Accountant? Some software? And does that setup actually work for you, or is it just what you’ve gotten used to?
I’m asking partly because I’m building an Excel add-in that generates Schedule F and Form 4562 from spreadsheet data. It’s still early. Data stays local, no cloud, no subscription. But before I go further, I want to know if this is a real problem or if most people are fine with how they do it now.
