northeastern Ohio | From time to time, Agtalk gets attacked which slows everything down and sometimes completely shuts it down. You can google "denial of service" attack (DoS) for more information on how they work.
The owner of the site has mentioned in the past that these DoS attacks have been possibly instigated by users who get banned or by companies that have had unfavorable reviews posted by a legitimate Agtalk user. Or they might just be random attacks by someone testing out malware.
Cloudfare sells a service that helps stop these attacks by verifying that the computer requesting access to this site is legitimate and not part of one of these attacks. | |
