Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Thanks, will try tinycam.
Yes the Wal-Mart tablet in very low end. I purchased it for in another situation but it didn't work out for it. I needed to input items and the screen is fairly small and very touchy to enter values reliably.
It does work for other uses but is slow. I thought using it with the camera might be a good way to salvage some use out of it. The Android tablet does work with another appliation where it works as either the "camera" or "viewer" with a home surevelliance app. That app uses the internet where the combine situation would be using a soft access point.
At the moment, the Android tablet recognizes the WiFi connection to the camera which is locked. I try entering the password that should work according to my notes but the Android tablet tells me it is incorrect. Possibly the password I'm trying is incorrect since the IOS devices accept it. Of course, I can't retrieve the password from the IOS devices since it is hidden.
I believe there is a rest button in the camera that resets the password to some default. I'm a bit reluctant to go that route since the cameras do still work with the IOS devices. By messing with the password, I might cause lose connection to the IOS devices.
