Subject: Mill rotary table question

West Central Iowa
I am looking for a rotary table to use with my Bridgeport series 1 and have located a Troyke X-Y crosslide rotary table with a 9" square table on it. Other then the extra cost, the extra height (mill does not have a spacer block) and weight and the fact that it is a horizontal table only, are there any other disadvantages of a crosslide table if you won't be using the X-Y feature much? Is the 9" square big enough for general use?

If some of the prices I have found online are realistic, I think I should be able to sell this thing if I don't like it for at least what I can buy if for.

Thanks!
