Central, IA | Interesting. I've needed to add cell backup to my unifi networks for a while now, but always ignored UI's options as they don't allow Verizon. I'm not sure how T mobile reception is around here, but I may be willing to try for $150. I have a verizon business account and was going to just use one of the BR1 mini modems we use in the tractors hard wired to the router.
So it can be plugged in anywhere on the network? I already have 2 ISP circuits coming into my UDMP. I wonder if this would truly add a 3rd or if I need to disable it.
I'm not concerned about speed, mostly just need something to keep an eye on critical livestock equipment during outages.
I just wish it had provisions for an external antenna. | |
