Eastern NE KS | Thank you.
When my cardiologist placed me on blood pressure medicine, he was constantly inquiring if had dizziness or fainting problems. I had exactly that reaction to one and was quickly switched to a different medicine.
During this year long effort, his goal was to lower my BP by about 10 points. I was surprised at his concern of this precise adjustment at such a low level/goal. He also worked to find a generic that was well tolerated and effective. He just wanted my heart to work less hard, post surgery. I can hardly imagine the drug world benefits much from my generic bp medication that costs $11 for a 90 day supply.
I think the video points out a fairly difficult challenge in all of heathcare. It speaks to general populations but not to me as an individual. It is an education tool that helped me know the issues associated with a lowed bp. I am happy to confirm my doc was and is concerned as well. I would be reacting quite differently if the video pointed out some other side affect that was not voiced by my doctor.
