Older or younger guy doesn't matter when you have a field partially cut. I towed moco to Deere dealer who needed time to sort out and order parts and schedule a technician. This hay was too good to waste. My neighbor sure helped me out.

A difference between using a sickle on a combine and a moco is that the combine is usually limited in forward speed by things other than the cutterbar. A moco is not.
