We ran a 488 for many years and it was a mowing machine. Dad had two 488 over the course of 20 some years. Replace it with a 499 and that thing couldn't hold a candle to what the 488 would mow. 499 got replaced with a H7230 and now a DC103. Other than slower speed we loved the 488!
